We are now expanding our sales operation and are looking for experienced cybersecurity sales professionals who can help us generate new business and build long-term customer relationships.
The Opportunity
We are looking for a highly motivated Cybersecurity Sales Executive / Account Executive with experience selling cybersecurity, managed security, SaaS, IT services, MSSP/MDR, SIEM, EDR/XDR, or related technology solutions.
This is not an account-management-only position.
We are looking for a hunter.
You should be comfortable identifying opportunities from scratch, starting conversations with prospects, conducting discovery, developing opportunities, and progressing deals toward close.
The ideal candidate understands how to sell cybersecurity outcomes rather than simply product features.
You will work directly with the founder and GuardsArm's technical team, giving you immediate access to the people who can scope solutions, demonstrate our technology, answer technical questions, and help close opportunities.
What You Will Do
You will be responsible for building and converting your own pipeline.
Identify and prospect potential GuardsArm customers
Conduct outbound prospecting through LinkedIn, email, telephone, networking, referrals, partnerships, and other channels
Develop relationships with business owners, CIOs, CISOs, CTOs, IT Directors, IT Managers, compliance leaders, and other decision-makers
Book and conduct discovery meetings
Understand the customer's cybersecurity environment, challenges, compliance requirements, and business risks
Identify opportunities for SIEM, XDR, EDR, MDR, SOC, penetration testing, compliance, and advisory services
Present GuardsArm solutions to prospective customers
Work with our technical team on demonstrations, solution design, scoping, and proposals
Manage opportunities through the sales pipeline
Handle objections and commercial discussions
Negotiate and close new customers
Build referral and channel relationships with MSPs, IT consultants, technology providers, and other partners
Develop strategic accounts and recurring managed-security revenue
Maintain accurate visibility into pipeline activity and deal progression
Who We Are Looking For
We are particularly interested in candidates who have sold for or competed within environments such as:
MSSPs
MDR providers
Managed SOC providers
Cybersecurity consulting firms
SIEM vendors
EDR/XDR companies
Endpoint-security companies
Cloud-security companies
Penetration-testing firms
Compliance/security consulting firms
MSPs and IT service providers
Experience with companies or ecosystems such as Arctic Wolf, eSentire, Huntress, CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, Sophos, Palo Alto Networks/Cortex, Fortinet, Microsoft Security, Rapid7, ConnectWise, Blackpoint Cyber, Expel, Red Canary, or similar cybersecurity organizations is highly relevant.
Ideal Background
You may be a strong fit if you have:
Previous cybersecurity or B2B technology sales experience
A track record of generating net-new business
Experience prospecting into SMB, mid-market, or enterprise organizations
Experience selling recurring contracts or managed services
Knowledge of cybersecurity terminology and buyer concerns
Experience selling to IT Directors, CISOs, CTOs, CIOs, business owners, or senior executives
Strong discovery and consultative-selling skills
Confidence conducting outbound prospecting
Experience building your own pipeline instead of relying entirely on inbound leads
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Negotiation and closing ability
An entrepreneurial mindset
Existing relationships with potential cybersecurity buyers are highly valued.
Industries We Serve
Our target markets include organizations in sectors such as:
Healthcare
Legal and professional services
Financial services
Municipalities and public-sector organizations
Energy
Oil and gas
Manufacturing
Technology
Education
Transportation
Retail
Regulated small and mid-sized businesses
Compensation
We are open to working with exceptional cybersecurity sellers under an independent / performance-based compensation structure with significant uncapped earning potential.
Our preferred model includes attractive commissions on new business generated and closed.
Depending on experience, network, and responsibilities, compensation may include:
Competitive commission on first-year revenue
Recurring commission opportunities on managed-service renewals
Accelerators for exceeding revenue targets
Additional incentives for strategic accounts
Potential progression into a senior sales leadership role as GuardsArm grows
There is no artificial cap on earnings.
A salesperson who consistently creates and closes meaningful managed-security opportunities should be rewarded accordingly.
We are particularly interested in experienced sellers who value performance-based upside and want an opportunity to help build a growing cybersecurity company.
Why GuardsArm?
Sell multiple cybersecurity solutions
You are not limited to selling one narrow security product.
A prospect that is not ready for managed SIEM may still require penetration testing, an assessment, EDR/XDR, compliance services, vCISO support, or another cybersecurity engagement.
That gives you multiple ways to create and expand customer relationships.
Recurring revenue opportunity
Our managed cybersecurity offerings create the potential for meaningful recurring customer relationships rather than one-off transactional sales.
Direct access to leadership
You will work directly with GuardsArm's founder and technical team rather than navigating layers of management.
Technical support during the sales process
You do not need to be the SOC engineer.
Our technical team can support qualified opportunities with technical discovery, demonstrations, architecture discussions, security assessments, scoping, and proposal development.
Build, not maintain
This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys creating markets, opening doors, and building a sales function—not simply inheriting an existing territory.
Growth opportunity
Exceptional performers can grow into roles such as:
Senior Account Executive
Enterprise Account Executive
Sales Director
Head of Sales
Channel Sales Leader
as the company expands.
What Success Looks Like
Success in this role is straightforward:
You create qualified cybersecurity opportunities.
You build relationships with decision-makers.
You develop a predictable pipeline.
You convert opportunities into paying customers.
And you help GuardsArm build recurring cybersecurity revenue.
We care far more about measurable results than activity for activity's sake.
Who Should Apply
We would especially like to hear from:
Experienced cybersecurity Account Executives
Former MSSP/MDR sales professionals
Independent cybersecurity sales representatives
Cybersecurity sales consultants
Enterprise technology sellers with security experience
High-performing SDRs ready to progress into closing roles
Former cybersecurity sales leaders interested in an entrepreneurial opportunity
Professionals with strong MSP, channel, CISO, CIO, or IT-leadership networks
If you understand cybersecurity buyers, know how to open doors, and can turn conversations into revenue, we would like to speak with you.
How to Apply
Please include a short note covering:
Your cybersecurity or technology-sales background
The types of cybersecurity solutions or services you have sold
Your experience generating net-new pipeline
Your typical customer profile or industries
Your experience with outbound prospecting
Examples of quota attainment or significant deals you have closed
Whether you already have relationships within cybersecurity, IT, MSP, or executive buyer communities
We are particularly interested in candidates who can demonstrate measurable sales performance.
