About the role
The Data Migration & Data Quality Analyst will be responsible for analyzing, profiling, cleansing, validating, transforming, and preparing data from the organization's legacy ERP system for migration to a new ERP platform. The role requires a highly analytical and independent individual who can assess data quality issues, determine appropriate treatment of inconsistent or incomplete records, and make fact-based recommendations on data cleansing and migration decisions. The position will work closely with business process owners, ERP functional teams, technical teams, vendors, and project management to ensure that migrated data is accurate, complete, consistent, traceable, and fit for use in the new ERP.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze, profile, and assess data quality issues from legacy ERP systems
- Determine appropriate treatment of inconsistent or incomplete records
- Perform data cleansing, validation, transformation, and reconciliation
- Prepare data for migration to new ERP platform
- Make fact-based recommendations on data cleansing and migration decisions
