**Why Icon?
**This is an opportunity to join Icon at an exciting stage in the development of our data capability.
You’ll have the opportunity to work across a broad technology landscape rather than being limited to one component of the data environment, with exposure across data engineering, warehousing, Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, AI and automation.
Most importantly, you’ll have the autonomy to take ownership of your work, build on what’s already been established and make a genuine impact on how data is used across the Group.**
The Opportunity**
We’re looking for an experienced, hands on Data & Analytics Engineer to join Icon Group and play an important role in the continued development of our data and analytics capability.
This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys being close to the technology, solving problems and turning complex data into practical solutions that support better business decisions.
Initially, your focus will be on data engineering and data warehousing, building and improving data pipelines, ETL processes and the foundations that underpin our reporting and analytics environment. You’ll also work across Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, AI and automation, giving you the opportunity to contribute to how our broader data capability evolves.
You’ll join an environment where strong foundations have already been established, with the opportunity to take what’s been built and continue driving it forward.
What You'll Be Doing
- Design, build and maintain robust data pipelines and ETL processes.
- Support the ongoing development and optimisation of our data warehouse and broader data environment.
- Develop scalable data solutions that improve data quality, accessibility and reliability.
- Build reporting, dashboards and analytics solutions using Power BI.
- Contribute to the continued development of our Microsoft Fabric environment
- Work with stakeholders across the business to understand requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes through automation, AI and emerging technologies.
- Build on our existing data foundations while bringing your own ideas and technical expertise to the role.
- Work across a diverse Group environment with exposure to a broad range of business and operational data.
About You
You’re a practical and technically capable data professional who enjoys being hands on. You’re comfortable taking ownership, working through problems and delivering solutions rather than operating solely at a strategic or architectural level.
You’ll ideally bring:
- Strong hands on experience in data engineering and data warehousing.
