Data Platform Engineer

Revelane is a partner in commercial excellence. We work side by side with ambitious mid-market companies to strengthen their competitive position and turn potential into sustainable revenue growth. With clarity on direction, focus in execution, and a way of working proven across 100+ partnerships, we help leadership teams move from ambition to performance.

Your mission is to turn raw CRM, ERP, Finance, Marketing, and Product data into trusted, governed metrics that power our revenue intelligence platform. You will design semantic models, build analytics layers, and define the metrics our clients use to make critical go-to-market decisions. Through strong ownership of the data modeling layer, you will enable our clients to move faster with better insight.

We are looking for a motivated Analytics Engineer (medior/senior) to join our international team and shape the analytics backbone of our revenue intelligence platform — turning complex, messy data into clear, actionable insights for Europe's fastest-growing companies.

Semantic layer & metric definitions Design, build, and maintain our governed metric layer. Define revenue KPIs — pipeline velocity, conversion rates, cohort performance, funnel health — so that every number in our platform has a single source of truth.

Data modeling Develop and maintain a scalable library of dbt models that transform data from sources like HubSpot, Salesforce, and ERP platforms into clean, well-documented dimensional models. Ensure consistency across client implementations.

Funnel & revenue analytics Build the analytical models that power our core product: full-funnel analysis from lead creation through deal closure, pipeline bow-tie visualizations, ICP segmentation, and cohort-based performance tracking.

Data quality & governance Implement testing, documentation, and data contracts across the modeling layer. Own data lineage, freshness monitoring, and access control so our clients can trust what they see.

Client implementation Work directly with client data — connecting to their cloud environments (BigQuery, Microsoft Fabric, Databricks), understanding their CRM configuration, and adapting our models to their specific funnel stages, pipelines, and segmentation.

Product collaboration Partner with our data engineers and full-stack developers to bring modeled data into the platform — through APIs, embedded dashboards, and real-time data products.

Modeling expertise Strong experience with dbt (or similar transformation frameworks) and SQL. You think in dimensional models, know when to denormalize, and care deeply about naming conventions and documentation.

Semantic layer thinking Experience with (or strong interest in) governed metric layers. You understand why "one metric, one definition" matters.

CRM & revenue data fluency You have worked with CRM data (HubSpot, Salesforce) and understand the messiness of real-world sales funnels — lifecycle stages, deal pipelines, attribution, deduplication.

Cloud data platform experience Comfortable working in BigQuery, Snowflake, Databricks, or Microsoft Fabric. You understand how data lands from ingestion tools like Fivetran and how to model it downstream.

Analytical mindset You don't just transform data — you understand what the business is trying to measure. Experience with revenue operations, SaaS metrics, or go-to-market analytics is a strong plus.

Collaboration You work well with data engineers, product developers, and business stakeholders. You can translate between a client's commercial question and the SQL that answers it.

Ever seen a company and thought: “they could be doing so much more?” That’s exactly what drives us. We believe potential deserves to be realised. Every bit of it. That’s why we stand beside winners and industry leaders, helping them go from good to great, turning determination into results and ambition into stronger outcomes.

Joining our team means:

• Shape the analytics layer of revenue intelligence. Build the data foundations behind a revenue intelligence product used by leading European mid-market companies — not just building models, but helping define the metrics that drive commercial decisions.
• Turn data into real-world impact. Work at the intersection of data, technology, and revenue, building solutions that improve how our clients understand their business and make commercial decisions.
• Grow through challenge. Every project brings new data landscapes, business models, and technical questions. A constant opportunity to deepen your expertise, expand your perspective, and solve problems that matter.
• Collaborate across disciplines. Work end-to-end with Strategy, Data, Sales, Marketing, and RevOps. Connecting data and technology to business needs, and technical solutions to measurable outcomes.
• Thrive with autonomy. Take ownership of your work and have the freedom to shape how things are built. You’ll have a high degree of autonomy, with the trust and support to make a real impact at both Revelane and our clients.
• Be part of an ambitious, entrepreneurial team. Work alongside sharp, curious, and collaborative people in a high-energy environment, with hands-on and supportive management and a genuine drive to build, learn, and make an impact.
