- Scalable Pipeline Engineering: Write and optimize production-ready code using PySpark, Python, Databricks, and Airflow to process massive data flows at scale.
- Stakeholder & Producer Coordination: Partner closely with data producers across the enterprise regarding data sources and quality, while supporting developers who create transaction monitoring logic.
- Monorepository & Onboarding: Contribute to building and maintaining a monorepository structure and onboard new international regions into the data model framework.
Your Deliverables:
- Scalable, robust production code and data transformations powering the international transaction monitoring data model.
- Expanded regional data integrations within the central monorepository.
- Optimized data pipelines leveraging Databricks, PySpark, and Airflow.
Your Profile:
- Education (Hard Requirement): Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Mathematics, Information Studies, or a comparable STEM subject.
- Experience (Hard Requirements):
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant professional experience as a Data Scientist or Data Engineer.
- Demonstrable hands-on experience with PySpark and production-grade data transformations.
- Professional proficiency in English with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Preferred Assets / Nice-to-Haves: Experience in IT environments, Databricks, Microsoft Azure, and Medallion Architecture patterns.
- Based in the Netherlands
