Day Shift QC Inspector

We are looking for a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to perform inspections throughout the manufacturing process and ensure completed products meet customer requirements, specifications, and applicable industry standards. This position will perform dimensional inspections, verify incoming, in-process, and outgoing products, document inspection results, and work closely with Production, Engineering, Quality, and other departments to identify and resolve quality concerns.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safety-first culture through open communication and consistent adherence to safety procedures.

• Perform complete dimensional layout inspections of parts and equipment.

• Measure dimensions including length, height, distances between reference points, angles, arcs, and radii using a variety of precision measuring equipment and inspection aids.

• Identify and establish reference points on parts and equipment to ensure accurate measurements.

• Perform inspections and verification of incoming, in-process, and outgoing materials and products.

• Compare completed work against drawings, specifications, samples, and other requirements to identify manufacturing variations or defects.

• Interpret blueprints, drawings, specifications, and dimensional requirements.

• Identify, document, and report quality issues and inspection findings to the Quality Control Manager.

• Follow up on quality concerns to ensure corrective actions are addressed or planned.

• Maintain accurate inspection records and documentation.

• Prepare and maintain lists of defects, discrepancies, and other quality findings.

• Work with Production, Engineering, Manufacturing, and other departments to ensure products meet specifications and facilitate acceptance of completed work.

• Assist with identifying trends or recurring quality issues and communicate findings to appropriate personnel.

• Support NDE and other inspection processes as required.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

• Perform other duties as assigned.
