DevOps Architect - Cloud Infrastructure

Role & Responsibilities :

• Design, implement, and govern scalable, highly available, and secure DevOps/cloud architectures across development, testing, and production environments.

• Define and drive CI/CD strategies using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.

• Architect and manage cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, or GCP, with a focus on scalability, reliability, security, and cost optimization.

• Design and manage containerized and orchestration platforms, primarily Docker and Kubernetes.

• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, or equivalent technologies.

• Establish DevOps standards, reusable frameworks, automation patterns, and engineering best practices across teams.

• Implement observability and monitoring using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/OpenSearch, Datadog, CloudWatch, or equivalent platforms.

• Collaborate with application, engineering, security, QA, and infrastructure teams to integrate DevSecOps practices into the software development lifecycle.

• Design solutions for high availability, disaster recovery, backup, business continuity, and resilience.

• Identify and resolve complex infrastructure, deployment, performance, and production issues.

• Establish and improve security controls, secrets management, vulnerability management, access controls, and compliance practices.

• Drive cloud cost optimization and infrastructure efficiency initiatives.

• Conduct architecture reviews and provide technical guidance to DevOps, SRE, cloud, and development teams.

• Mentor engineers and promote automation, reliability, and continuous improvement.

• Evaluate emerging cloud-native technologies and recommend solutions aligned with business and technical requirements.

• Create and maintain architecture diagrams, technical documentation, operational procedures, and standards.

Preferred Candidate Profile :

• 8-10 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, SRE, Platform Engineering, or related roles.

• Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale DevOps and cloud architectures.

• Strong hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform : AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker/containerization.

• Hands-on expertise with Terraform or other Infrastructure-as-Code technologies.
