DevOps Automation Engineer

About this role:

The DevOps Automation Expert is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing monitoring and automation solutions on the AWS platform. This role requires strong expertise in cloud architecture, containerization, and observability tools such as Kubernetes, Grafana, and Prometheus.

You will collaborate closely with development, operations, and security teams to ensure the availability, reliability, scalability, and security of DXC platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable monitoring and automation solutions on AWS.

• Continuously improve the existing DevOps platform through collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

• Build capabilities around emerging DevOps tools and technologies aligned with business needs.

• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to engineering teams.

• Advise stakeholders and customers on modern DevOps practices, tools, and automation strategies.

• Define and enforce DevOps processes, standards, and best practices.

• Ensure compliance with security policies and implement DevSecOps practices.

• Lead technical discussions, solution design, and delivery execution.

Jira & Confluence Administration

• Administer and manage Jira and Confluence environments ensuring high availability and performance.

• Customize workflows, permissions, dashboards, and reports.

• Configure and manage plugins, integrations, APIs, and webhooks.

• Provide user support, training, and documentation (runbooks, workflows).

• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into tool configurations.
