Full description
Keep a threat intelligence platform fast, secure and cheap to run, and help move it to a new cloud.
A multinational defence headquarters in Brussels is looking for a cloud engineer to own the environment
its cyber threat intelligence team works on, alongside a software engineer, a data scientist and
threat researchers.
What you would be doing
- Keeping a multi-account AWS environment stable, secure and available
- Building and maintaining infrastructure as code with Terraform
- Setting up CI/CD pipelines and automating containerised workloads on ECS
- Running monitoring, logging and alerting, and managing IAM, SSO and VPC networking
- Finding better ways to handle security, data flows and cost
- Helping move the platform from AWS to Azure, and documenting the work clearly
What you would bring
- A degree in a quantitative field with strong systems engineering content and 2 years of relevant experience, or 4 years of similar work plus recognised certifications
- Hands-on AWS: Lambda, S3, CloudTrail, ECS, EC2 and the Well-Architected Framework
- Significant Terraform experience and CI/CD pipeline work
- Least-privilege security with GuardDuty, IAM and SSO
- Python and Bash, Docker, Linux administration and Git
- A plus: Azure, and experience in cyber security or intelligence work
Why this one is worth a look
The platform you run is the one analysts use to spot attacks early.
