Skills needed:
- Coding/scripting within Puppet Enterprise and Puppet Open Source.
- Coding/scripting using Ansible.
- Working knowledge of the Atlassian tool suite
- Ability to re-engineer processes as necessary
- Communicating and collaborating with others
- Ability to use a wide variety of open source technologies and tools
- Experience with systems and IT operations
- Comfort with frequent, incremental code testing and deployment
- Strong grasp of automation tools
- A strong focus on business outcomes
- Comfort with collaboration, open communication and reaching across functional borders
Requirement:
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- 3 years’ experience working in a DevOps environment/team
- 2 years’ experience uses Puppet for automation
- 2 years’ experience using Ansible for automation
- 2 years’ experience using the Atlassian Tool suite
- Ability to develop technical sound designs and specifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
