Full description
Role Description Improves how software is built, tested, released, and operated by connecting development and operations practices. Works with software engineers, infrastructure teams, security, and product groups to make delivery more consistent, reliable, and efficient. Designs and maintains the tools, automation, and processes that support development environments and production services.
A
DevOps Engineer
builds and maintains continuous integration and delivery pipelines, infrastructure automation, deployment tooling, monitoring, and operational scripts. Helps teams release changes safely, troubleshoot build or environment issues, and reduce repetitive manual work. A
DevOps Architect
defines the broader technical design and standards for delivery platforms, cloud infrastructure, deployment patterns, security controls, and observability. A
DevOps Manager
leads DevOps or platform teams, sets priorities and service expectations, manages resources, and coordinates delivery improvements across engineering and operations.
Responsibilities may include managing cloud resources, containers, orchestration platforms, configuration management, secrets, build systems, and release processes. Works with teams to improve deployment frequency, reduce failures, strengthen rollback and recovery practices, and maintain reliable environments. Supports infrastructure as code, automated testing, environment management, access controls, and security checks within development workflows.
Monitors infrastructure and application performance, investigates incidents, and helps teams identify and address recurring operational problems. Documents systems and procedures, supports on-call or incident response processes where required, and contributes to capacity planning, cost control, backup, and disaster recovery. Architect and manager-level roles may also establish standards, evaluate tools, guide migrations, improve developer experience, and align platform capabilities with organizational needs.

Knowledge of networking, operating systems, identity and access management, and application security
Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to investigate production and deployment issues
Clear communication and documentation skills for working with developers and operational teams
Ability to balance delivery speed with reliability, security, and cost requirements
Relevant cloud, Kubernetes, DevOps, or security certifications are beneficial
Architecture roles may require experience designing shared platforms, standards, and technical roadmaps
Manager roles may require team leadership, service ownership, budget management, and cross-functional planning experience
