About the Role
We are seeking a skilled DevOps / Platform Engineer with strong Java development experience and telecommunications domain knowledge. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining scalable Java applications, supporting microservices-based architectures, improving application performance, and promoting code quality and automation across the software delivery lifecycle.
The candidate should have strong debugging and problem-solving skills, experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies, and the ability to investigate application issues using logs, error messages, and diagnostic tools.
Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Java code.

Build and support production-scale web applications and REST APIs using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.

Optimize applications for performance, scalability, quality, and responsiveness.

Develop and maintain web application components using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and AngularJS.

Investigate application issues using logs, error messages, and debugging tools to identify root causes.

Write and maintain unit and integration tests using JUnit and Mockito.

Implement logging practices using Log4j 2 and follow established coding and quality standards.

Develop and maintain database scripts, stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
