1:1 Part-Time Support Staff Needed – Syracuse, NY (CA-DL)

A 34-year-old male in the Syracuse area is looking for a Direct Support Professional to assist him with going out in the community more, working on chores around his apartment, and going to the YMCA to exercise. He enjoys animals, dancing, fishing, swimming, cooking, learning new recipes, and playing video games. The ideal candidate is creative, engaging, active, patient, and willing to travel to different locations. The ideal candidate must be ok to work around animals, specifically rodents, as the individual has a few pets in cages. The ideal candidate must be able to redirect behaviors and responses and help support regulation.

This is a part-time position, but additional hours are available with other people receiving services at the agency.

Hours and days of work: 30 hours per week. Flexible availability all days of the week with exceptions for Sundays when he is available after 10am, and Thursdays when he is available until 1pm.

Starting pay: Starting pay is $19.25/hour and increases with years of relevant experience.
