Director, Product Strategy & Transformation

About the Role**

Millions of professionals rely on Wolters Kluwer to make critical decisions across healthcare, tax, legal, financial services, compliance and corporate performance. As AI reshapes professional work, our customers expect software that is more intelligent, integrated and effective. Meeting those expectations requires rethinking how products are discovered, built, launched, measured and improved.

This newly created role reflects Wolters Kluwer's commitment to transforming how products are built in the age of AI. Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Product Strategy & Transformation, you will help lead that evolution from the Corporate Strategy Office. Working in a small enterprise team, you will partner with senior product, engineering, design and business leaders to strengthen the Product System and improve customer value, business outcomes and speed of innovation. A key focus will be advancing the Agentic Product Development Lifecycle (Agentic PDLC), using AI across product development. You will combine deep product expertise with a hands-on transformation mindset to implement and scale change.

How You Will Work

This is a senior individual-contributor role, leading through expertise, coaching, facilitation and influence. You will embed with business-unit teams on high-priority lighthouse initiatives, apply modern product practices and AI-enabled workflows, and turn proven approaches into reusable tools and operating practices for broader adoption.

The role can be based remotely in any country where Wolters Kluwer has an office and will require travel of approximately 35% to work directly with teams and stakeholders.

What You Will Do

• Partner with senior product, engineering, design and business leaders to identify high-impact opportunities and connect product decisions to customer and business outcomes.

• Define, pilot and scale Wolters Kluwer's Agentic PDLC and broader AI-enabled product development capabilities.

• Lead lighthouse engagements across product strategy, discovery, experimentation, delivery, launch and measurement.

• Embed with cross-functional teams to diagnose barriers, build trust and translate insight into practical change.

• Coach product leaders and improve operating models, portfolio practices, governance and metrics.

• Turn effective practices into repeatable tools, learning experiences and standards for enterprise adoption.

• Establish success measures, demonstrate impact and use evidence to guide broader rollout.

Required Experience & Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on Product Management and/or Product Leadership experience in B2B software, SaaS or technology companies.

• Ownership of strategy and outcomes for a substantial product, platform or portfolio, from customer discovery through delivery and measurement.

• A track record of leading cross-functional product, engineering and design teams to meaningful customer and business outcomes.

• Strong product craft across discovery, strategy, experimentation, prioritization, roadmaps, launch and measurement.

• Recent hands-on experience building AI-enabled or agentic products, transforming product development workflows through AI, or both.

• Ability to enter unfamiliar contexts, diagnose root causes, build trust and translate insight into action.

• Proven influence on product direction, operating models or organizational effectiveness beyond a single team, without relying on formal authority.

• Strong analytical, communication, storytelling and facilitation skills, with the judgment to simplify complexity and align senior leaders.

Preferred Experience

• Leading product transformation, operating-model change or organizational scaling initiatives.

• Coaching product leaders and strengthening product management practices.

• Working across multiple businesses, portfolios or complex matrixed organizations.

• Scaling reusable capabilities such as playbooks, metrics, communities of practice or leadership-development programs.

What Makes Someone Successful

• Customer obsessed and focused on solving meaningful professional problems.

• Passionate about product craft and motivated by helping multiple teams become more effective.

• Curious, adaptable and energized by ambiguity, with high ownership and a bias toward action.

• Strong product judgment balanced with evidence-based decision-making.

• Pragmatic and hands-on, able to challenge the status quo, build followership and move from strategy to implementation.

Why This Role Matters

This role is designed for accomplished product leaders who have successfully built products, led teams and delivered meaningful business outcomes and are ready to extend their impact beyond a single product, platform or portfolio. Rather than owning one roadmap, you will help shape how product strategy, discovery, delivery and AI-enabled product development are practiced across a global software company. Your influence will be reflected not only in individual initiatives, but in stronger teams, faster learning, better decision-making and improved outcomes for the millions of professionals who rely on Wolters Kluwer every day.

If you are motivated by helping define product excellence, shaping AI-native ways of working and influencing the future of product development at enterprise scale, this is a unique opportunity to leave a lasting imprint across an entire global portfolio.
