Downstream Mechanic IV

Legends don't stop. Neither do the people who keep them running.

Since 1833, Cooper Machinery Services has built the compressors and engines that keep the world's energy moving, including Cooper-Bessemer™, Ajax™, and Superior™. More than 22,000 of those units are still running today, and the people in our shops keep them running.

As a Downstream Mechanic IV in Deer Park, you'll be the recognized Subject Matter Expert on your assigned reciprocating compressor platforms, both Cooper OEM and non-OEM. You'll diagnose the hard problems, restore and overhaul equipment, and train the next generation of mechanics. Engineering will come to you for answers, and contractors will answer to you on quality. If you're a master of your craft and want your expertise to count, this is the role.
