At Dev.Pro, a US-based outsourced software development company, we're looking for contractors to join our global team of IT professionals helping tech companies scale their business through software engineering expertise. Operating as a remote-first company, our experts work across 55+ countries on five continents, giving us the flexibility and skillset to deliver high-quality engineering for projects of any size or complexity.

We invite a Senior DevOps Engineer, ideally with experience leading other DevOps specialists, to join our team. In this role, you'll help build and maintain reliable cloud infrastructure for our client, a major payment processing solution provider serving over 275,000 U.S. businesses. You'll use your GCP and Azure expertise to drive DevOps processes, modernize legacy systems, and ensure the security, observability, and availability of our cloud platform.

Is that you?

• 10+ years of DevOps experience, including 5+ years working with GCP and Azure
• Strong hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure, networking, automation, and CI/CD, with a primary focus on GCP
• Hands-on experience with Terraform, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, and Linux administration
• Experience using Datadog for monitoring and observability
• Strong understanding of security, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), containerization, and cloud monitoring
• Proven troubleshooting skills in high-load, mission-critical environments
• Ability to translate business needs into actionable technical tasks and plans
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to work effectively with technical teams and client stakeholders
• Strong sense of ownership and commitment to quality and clear documentation
• Proactive approach to improving DevOps tools, practices, and standards
• Upper-Intermediate English level

Desirable:

• Experience with MuleSoft
• Experience with .NET applications, microservices, and event-driven architectures
• Scripting experience with Bash or Python
• Familiarity with information security, compliance, and disaster recovery
• Experience mentoring or leading DevOps engineers
• Experience with additional performance monitoring and system management tools
