Do you believe that it is a calling to teach in Catholic schools? Are you a passionate, faith-filled Catholic educator eager to inspire young minds and shape lifelong disciples of Christ? Are you a disciple of Jesus Christ eager to lead students closer to Him so that they too will know of His love for them? If so, Saint Isaac Jogues Catholic School in St. Clair Shores, Michigan invites you to join our dedicated team as a long-term substitute teacher for 4-year-old Preschool in our vibrant, faith-filled community.

Teaching at a Catholic school is more than a career choice; it’s a response to God’s invitation to give of yourself—your gifts, your experience, your knowledge, your charity, and your faith—over and over again. It’s a job intimately linked to the convictions of your heart and your hopes for the future.

About Us

• At Saint Isaac Jogues Catholic School, we are a joyful Catholic Family, where Christ is Our Teacher.

• We are faithful disciples nourished by reverent celebration of the Sacraments, lifelong students growing in holiness and virtue, a generous community enriched by traditions and fellowship, and devoted servants fueled by missionary zeal.

• We are blessed by the presence of two religious communities – the Dominican Sisters of Mary, Mother of the Eucharist, and the priests and brothers of Pro Ecclesia Sancta, along with many dedicate lay staff members.

• We work from an understanding that to educate a child in the wonders of the world is to educate that child in God Himself. Thus, every subject is like an open window through which we touch eternity. As we form our minds in knowledge, we come to know ourselves and our Creator better.
