EL1 Senior ESM DevOps Engineer

Essential criteria

• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in ESM or IT service management platforms such as Jira Enterprise Service Management, BMC remedy or ServiceNow.

• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java and Groovy.

• Experience with AWS or other cloud services.

• Familiarly with CI/CD practices and tools such as Gitlab, Gitlab pipelines & Bitbucket.

• Proficiency in ESM tools such as ServiceNow, BMC Helix, Jira Cloud, Cherwell, and other relevant products.

• Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Desirable criteria

• ITIL Foundation or higher ITIL level qualifications (e.g., ITIL Managing Professional, ITIL Strategic Leader).

• Advanced certifications in ESM tools, such as ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist, BMC Helix Administrator, or Jira Administrator.

• Experience with additional ESM tools and platforms, such as Ivanti, Freshservice, or Zendesk.

• Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation). Previous experience in a similar role within a large enterprise environment.
