At ispace U.S., we’re not just going to the Moon—we’re redefining how we get there. Our missions push the boundaries of human and robotic exploration, driven by our belief: “Expand our Planet. Expand our Future.” By providing cost-effective lunar transportation, we are pioneering a future where space is within reach for scientific discovery, commercial ventures, and sustainable exploration.
With locations in Japan, Luxembourg, and the United States, ispace is rapidly growing and leading the way in lunar exploration and development. Our U.S. branch is based in Englewood, Colorado, and focuses on high-capacity payload lunar landers designed to support future lunar missions. Our team is made up of innovators, problem-solvers, and visionaries committed to making space more accessible and fostering the next generation of space exploration.
Let’s go to the Moon together! Our team is growing, and we are actively seeking talented individuals who share our passion for space.
ispaceUS is seeking a hands-on Electrical Test Engineer to develop and execute testing strategies that ensure the performance, durability, and long-term reliability of our spaceflight hardware. This role will work closely across hardware, software, manufacturing, and quality teams to design innovative test solutions, automate testing and analysis, and identify potential failures before our systems leave the ground.
Key Responsibilities
-
Develop, implement, train and oversee reliability test strategies for product and the subcomponents of the product to maximize space life and eliminate early life failures.
-
Design and execute novel environmental, RF, and electrical testing techniques tailored to the product and its functions.
-
Collaborate with design teams to plan and execute projects, including modifications, repairs, calibrations and routine maintenance of equipment such as racks, enclosures, and DAQs for the system and component level testing.
-
Write test programs to exercise functionality of the product and its subcomponents over various conditions and environments.
-
Automate reliability testing initiatives and reporting using proprietary visualization techniques and through knowledge of the product and its functions.
-
Work collaboratively with hardware, software and network engineering teams to maximize reliability across all disciplines.
-
Define the ongoing reliability of testing strategies to monitor the manufacturing process health and screen for long term reliability defects caused by process and component variability.
