About the Position: Red River Army Depot (RRAD) is located in northeast Texas, 19 miles west of Texarkana and approximately 170 miles northeast of Dallas. RRAD is near the corners of 4 states - Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Texas. The depot's enormous maintenance mission includes the repair, rebuild, overhaul and conversion of tactical wheeled vehicles. Performs operator's maintenance to all equipment andreports any malfunctions discovered while checking or operating the equipment.

Operates four wheel tractors equipped with various attachment's such as front end loader, angledozer blade and back hoe, powered by a hydraulic system to load materials, dig and excavate earth.

Operates a 4 by 6 truck tractor, 10 ton capacity, with 45 foot trailer, 95 ton capacity to transport engineering equipment to and from job sites.

Operates motor vehicle equipped with four speed transmission, two driving wheels, 400 gallon water tank, capable of carrying loads weighing more than one ton, but less than four ton to transport water used in connection with road maintenance work.

Builds and sets forms, levels and removes same upon completion of job.
