About the Role
Software engineering is changing rapidly. We believe AI will fundamentally change how great teams understand problems, design solutions, build, test, deploy, and operate software. Mach7 Technologies is looking for an Engineering Manager, AI-First Cloud Development to help lead that transformation from our Waterloo office. This is more than a traditional engineering management role. We are looking for a leader who can develop exceptional engineers, strengthen our cloud and DevOps capabilities, embrace AI-assisted development, and help make Waterloo an energized center of engineering excellence. Preferred
· Experience with AWS, JAVA, C#/.NET, React, PostgreSQL, Kubernetes/container platforms, DevOps practices and CI/CD, healthcare technology, medical imaging, or regulated software would be particularly valuable.
· Experience with Claude, Claude Code, or comparable AI development tools is highly valued.
· Prior hands-on experience with AI-DLC is not required — a strong foundation in agile delivery and DevOps practices and the strong desire to explore to methods matters far more
