We're looking for an Engineering Manager (Backend) with deep expertise in Java, microservices, distributed systems, and cloud technologies, combined with proven experience scaling consumer-facing products in a B2C/D2C environment.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of backend engineers.
- Remain actively involved in architecture, design reviews, code reviews, and critical technical decisions.
- Build and scale highly available, resilient, and performant backend systems serving millions of users.
- Partner with Product, Design, Data, and Business teams to deliver impactful customer experiences.
- Drive engineering excellence, operational efficiency, and best development practices.
- Own delivery planning, technical roadmap, hiring, and team development.
