Full description
We are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead high-performing engineering teams building scalable, customer-facing products for a fast-growing e-commerce / B2C / internet business. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with Java, Microservices architecture, AWS cloud, and large-scale distributed systems, along with proven leadership in managing engineering teams and delivering high-impact products.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, driving engineering excellence, delivery quality, and technical innovation.
- Own end-to-end delivery of scalable, reliable, and high-performance applications for consumer-facing platforms.
- Drive architecture decisions, design reviews, and implementation of enterprise-grade solutions.
- Build and maintain highly scalable microservices-based applications using Java technologies.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, Business, and QA teams to deliver customer-centric features.
- Define engineering best practices around coding standards, testing, CI/CD, observability, and production reliability.
- Manage technical roadmap, sprint planning, execution, and delivery commitments.
- Identify opportunities for improving system performance, scalability, and operational efficiency.
- Hire, develop, and retain strong engineering talent while building a high-performance culture.
