Engineering Manager

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager with a strong background in Full Stack Development, Cloud Technologies, and AWS Infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have expertise in both frontend and backend development, along with hands-on experience in designing scalable cloud-native applications and leading high-performing engineering teams. This role requires a blend of technical leadership, architecture expertise, and people management to drive the successful delivery of enterprise-grade applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, ensuring high-quality software delivery and engineering excellence.

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using modern JavaScript frameworks and backend technologies.

• Architect and implement cloud-native solutions on AWS with a focus on scalability, reliability, and security.

• Build and manage RESTful and SOAP-based APIs and integrate with enterprise systems.

• Develop and optimize ETL/ELT data pipelines using AWS services and workflow orchestration tools.

• Collaborate with Product, DevOps, QA, and Architecture teams to deliver robust software solutions.

• Drive best practices in system design, code quality, CI/CD, security, and performance optimization.

• Ensure high availability and resilience of applications through effective cloud infrastructure management.

• Conduct technical design reviews, code reviews, and provide architectural guidance to the team.

• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance engineering productivity and delivery.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 10+ years of software development experience with proven experience in an Engineering Manager or Technical Leadership role.

• Strong experience in Full Stack Development, including both frontend and backend technologies.

• Hands-on experience with modern JavaScript Frameworks (React.js, Angular, Vue.js, or similar).

• Strong backend development experience using Node.js and Python.

• Expertise in AWS Cloud services, including:

• ECS / EKS

• AWS Lambda

• API Gateway

• VPC

• ELB

• Route 53

• SNS & SQS

• AWS Glue

• Redshift

• Experience with Cloud Integrations and implementing secure, scalable cloud architectures.
