Enterprise Physical Security Sales – Midwest

Help Organizations Protect What Matters Most

Every organization depends on technology that is secure, reliable, and built to support its people. At Kidwell, we help businesses, healthcare organizations, schools, and government agencies protect their facilities, improve operations, and stay connected through innovative technology solutions.

We're looking for a driven sales professional who enjoys opening doors, building trust, and solving complex business challenges. If you're energized by creating new opportunities, developing long-term customer relationships, and becoming a trusted advisor instead of simply another salesperson, we'd love to meet you.

For more than 75 years, Kidwell has earned a reputation as one of the Midwest's premier technology integration companies. We're growing, investing in our people, and looking for someone who wants to build a career—not just close the next deal.

About This Role

As an Enterprise Physical Security Solutions Expert, you'll help organizations throughout Nebraska, Iowa, South Dakota, and Kansas improve security, connectivity, and operational performance through integrated technology solutions.

You'll own the entire sales process - from identifying new opportunities and building relationships to understanding customer needs, developing solutions, presenting proposals, and earning long-term partnerships.

Success in this role is measured by the trust you build, the business you create, and the lasting relationships you develop with customers (not the number of quotes you send).

You'll work alongside one of the Midwest's strongest engineering, estimating, and operations teams to deliver industry-leading physical security, access control, video surveillance, structured cabling, healthcare technology, and audio/visual solutions.

Why Sales Professionals Choose Kidwell

At Kidwell, you won't be limited to selling a single product or service. You'll represent a comprehensive portfolio of technology solutions that solve meaningful business challenges.

You'll also be supported by experienced engineers, project managers, estimators, and manufacturer partners who work together to help customers succeed.

We believe great salespeople should spend their time building relationships and solving problems - not fighting internal obstacles.

When you succeed, we succeed.

Success in This Role Looks Like

• Consistently creating new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, referrals, and relationship building.
• Becoming a trusted advisor who understands each customer's business before recommending solutions.
• Helping customers connect technology investments to improved security, efficiency, and operational outcomes.
• Managing the full sales cycle from initial outreach through proposal, negotiation, and long-term partnership.
• Collaborating closely with engineering, estimating, and operations teams to develop customized solutions.
• Maintaining an organized sales pipeline and consistently achieving activity and revenue goals.
• Building lasting relationships that generate repeat business and referrals.

Role Requirements

• Two or more years of business-to-business sales experience.
• Experience selling technology, construction, physical security, or related solutions is preferred.
• Bachelor's or Associate degree preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience managing a CRM and structured sales pipeline.
• Ability to travel throughout Nebraska with occasional overnight travel.

You Could Be a Great Fit If...

You communicate clearly, ask thoughtful questions, and simplify complex technology into business solutions customers understand.

You enjoy earning trust and building relationships that last well beyond the initial sale.

You're motivated by creating new opportunities instead of waiting for opportunities to come to you.

You have a genuine curiosity for technology and enjoy continuously learning about new products, manufacturers, and industry trends.

You connect technical solutions to business outcomes and understand that customers buy results - not products.

You're organized, follow through on commitments, and take pride in maintaining an accurate CRM and healthy sales pipeline.

You're competitive, resilient, and motivated by challenging goals, uncapped earning potential, and continuous improvement.

You enjoy collaborating with teammates because you know the best customer solutions are built by great teams - not individuals.

You May Not Be a Great Fit If...

• You prefer maintaining existing accounts over developing new business.
• You wait for opportunities instead of proactively creating them.
• You enjoy transactional selling more than consultative problem solving.
• You prefer working independently rather than partnering with engineers, project managers, and operations teams.
• You're uncomfortable learning new technologies and continuously expanding your expertise.

Our Sales Philosophy

At Kidwell, we believe customers don't buy technology - they invest in better outcomes.

We ask questions before offering solutions.

We earn trust before asking for business.

We focus on long-term partnerships rather than short-term transactions.

We believe our reputation is earned one customer at a time.

If that sounds like how you approach sales, you'll fit right in.

Why You'll Love Working Here

• Represent one of the Midwest's most respected technology integration companies with more than 75 years of success.

• Build a long-term book of business while growing your career with a company that continues to invest in its people.
