Experienced Stylist - Growth Opportunities - Must Read!!

If You're a Talented Stylist Who's Ready to Stop Settling and Start Thriving... We Need to Talk

Full-Time Hair Stylist | Award-Winning Salon | 4-Day Work Week | Where Talented Stylists Come to Grow

Are You This Person?

You're skilled, you love your craft, and you're ready for an environment that actually matches your ambition. You believe the best careers are built in community — not isolation. You want to grow, earn well, and be part of a team that genuinely has your back.

You're also done with salons that don't invest in you, don't hold a standard, and don't make you proud to show up every day.

If that's you — keep reading.

The Real Situation

Hi, I'm Anna. I run Lola Hair Studio — a $1.4M award-winning salon with an incredible team and a culture I protect fiercely.

Here's something I know to be true: you don't get to six figures alone. The stylists building real careers here are doing it by showing up for each other, contributing to the culture, and understanding that when the salon wins, everyone wins.

We invest in our team differently than most. Yes, technical education — but also professional development and mindset work. Because who you are matters as much as what you do behind the chair.

If that philosophy excites you — you might be exactly who we're looking for.

The Job

Full-time chair, 34+ hours per week. You'll be doing what you love — color, cuts, blowouts, balayage, highlights, extensions — and doing it in an environment that pushes you to be your best.

For stylists who want more beyond the chair, we also offer:

• Editorial and photoshoot opportunities

• In-salon education and teaching

• Mentoring junior stylists

These are available to those who want them — not required, just possible.

The Schedule

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday — a 4-day work week with optional Sundays. Full-time income. Built-in balance. Your chair is waiting.

What We're Looking For

• Valid Massachusetts cosmetology license

• 4+ years of professional salon experience

• Strong color and cutting skills — balayage and highlights are your happy place

• Extensions experience preferred, but not necessary; alternative hair solutions a plus

• Someone who genuinely loves being part of a team and understands that better together isn't just a slogan — it's how six figures happens here

Who thrives at Lola: Someone who takes pride in their work AND their teammates. Who shows up consistently, communicates openly, and wants to grow in every direction — technically, professionally, and personally. Someone who is as invested in the team winning as they are in their own book growing.

What You'll Get

• Competitive compensation — commission, hourly + tips, or guaranteed base + commission depending on the right fit

• Real path to six figures with leadership that helps you get there

• Technical, professional, and mindset education — ongoing

• Editorial work, teaching, and mentoring opportunities for those who want them

• 4-day work week (Mon/Tue/Wed/Sat) with optional Sundays

• A team that genuinely shows up for each other

• Mentorship from leadership that is actually in your corner

• Wellness Bonus

• Why Lola — not just "a salon"?

One Last Thing

The stylists here are talented, generous, growth-minded humans who care about their craft and each other. The bar is high — and that's exactly why people love it here.
