What are we looking for in a Family Nurse Practitioner/ Physician Assistant?

We’re seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner/ Physician Assistant to provide integrated acute and primary care services within a behavioral health setting at Comprehensive Healthcare. In this role, you’ll care for patients enrolled in behavioral health services, addressing medical needs in a collaborative, team-based environment.

This position is ideal for providers who are comfortable working with complex patient populations, including individuals with mental health and substance use disorders. Experience with psychiatric medication management is helpful but not required.

Schedule:

• Monday- Friday 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including physical exams, to diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including patient education and health coaching

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team to support continuity of care across multiple settings, including outpatient clinics, inpatient psychiatric/SUD units, and hospital

• Perform minor procedures (e.g., , minor wound care) as needed

• Accurately document patient care using EMR systems (SmartCare)

• Prescribe medications in accordance with state and federal regulations

QualificationsRequired:

• Washington State Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner License (ARNP) or Physician Assistant licensur

• Board certification in Family Medicine Nursing

• DEA Registration

• Controlled Substance Certification

• Minimum of 1 years’ experience (prefer 2 years of experience) in family practice, , or primary care

• Valid driver’s license and proof of vehicle liability insurance
