Field Supervisor

Basic Functions:Ensure operations are running smoothly through various tasks.Responsibilities: Include the following.

• Be an active role model for all field employees at all times.

• Ensure field crews are adhering to LEMSA and NORCAL Ambulance policies, practices and procedures and issue mentoring, education or discipline when appropriate.

• Perform field assessments of patients as needed to ensure the safety of our crews and patients during transport.

• Provide lift assists and ride along on priority calls to ensure the safety of our crews and patients during transport.

• Troubleshoot equipment and vehicle issues in the field.

• Troubleshoot transport issues with hospital staff when appropriate.

• Respond to vehicle accidents and/or Incidents to assist and/or coordinate resources when appropriate.

• Respond to patient incidents to assist and/or coordinate resources when appropriate.

• Perform driver training, education and driver remediations.

Perform other related duties as assigned.
