Skills
Must have
- - A track record of personally sourcing and closing B2B deals—not only managing inbound leads or inherited accounts.
- - Experience selling technology, workflow automation, SaaS, consulting, transformation or similarly complex solutions involving multiple stakeholders.
- - Strong commercial and operational discovery skills: you can understand how a business makes money, where processes break down and whether a proposed solution makes economic sense.
- - Comfort working before a complete sales playbook exists.
- - Ability to develop messaging, objection handling and sales processes from first principles.
- - Strong negotiation, procurement, follow-up and closing discipline.
- - A collaborative approach to working with founders and implementation teams.
- - High ownership, integrity, learning speed and comfort with early-stage ambiguity.
- - Sound judgment about delivery feasibility—you do not promise capabilities the team cannot deliver.
- WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
- - A repeatable outbound-led sales process supported by qualified pipeline, clear learning about ideal customers and signed contracts.
- - Customers with a well-defined problem, decision-maker, budget rationale, success metric and operational owner.
- - Accurate forecasts and honest learning from lost deals.
- - Customer trust built through strong diagnosis, business understanding and practical knowledge of AI workflows.
- THIS ROLE WILL SUIT YOU IF
- - You enjoy creating opportunities rather than waiting for inbound demand.
- - You can operate without a large sales development team or fully established sales infrastructure.
- - You measure success through qualified revenue and customer value—not meeting volume alone.
- - You take direct responsibility for pipeline quality, deal evidence and reliable follow-through.
- APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS
- Please include your CV and short responses covering:
- 1. Two B2B deals you personally sourced and closed. Describe the customer type, deal economics, sales cycle, stakeholders and your exact contribution.
- 2. One meaningful lost deal, what you learned and what you changed afterward.
- 3. Why you want to build Maxify AI’s founding sales operation.
- Please anonymize customer names and omit confidential information where necessary.

ABOUT THE ROLE
Build Maxify AI’s first repeatable B2B sales operation.
We are looking for a hands-on Founding Account Executive who can personally source, understand and close customers whose business workflows can benefit from AI.
You will work directly with the founder and implementation team to turn customer problems into credible commercial opportunities—from initial outreach and discovery through negotiation, close and handoff.
This is an individual-contributor role for someone who wants to build and sell, not a sales management or inbound-only position.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Generate your own qualified pipeline within targeted customer segments.
- Run discovery with business owners and operators to identify painful, measurable workflow problems.
- Build clear business cases covering revenue opportunities, cost savings, capacity released, implementation effort, payback and risk.
- Work with the founder and implementation team on solution design, proposals, negotiation, closing and customer handoff.
- Close recurring-revenue contracts with customers Maxify can realistically serve, distinguishing recurring revenue from one-off implementation fees.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, next steps, forecasts, deal economics and loss reasons.
- Turn customer conversations and deal evidence into a repeatable sales approach.
- Use AI tools for account research, personalized outreach, call analysis and follow-up while protecting customer trust.
