Skills
Must have
- 2-5 years of experience in BDR/SDR or similar outbound sales roles, ideally in B2B SaaS, fintech, AI or another complex B2B environment.
- Experience with Enterprise or Account-Based outbound, rather than primarily high-volume transactional SMB prospecting.
- A track record of hitting or exceeding pipeline generation targets, with concrete numbers behind your performance.
- Fluent English, both written and spoken.
- Fluent in at least two of the following: Italian, Spanish, French or Arabic.
- You know how to research an account, identify the right stakeholders and find creative ways to get in front of senior decision-makers.
- AI fluent. You actively use AI to improve how you work and are curious about how technology can make you more effective.
- You build your own structure and take ownership rather than waiting for someone to give you a playbook.
- You want to grow, whether that's into an AE role, a senior BDR position or eventually sales leadership, and you're excited to develop alongside a growing international commercial team.

About the role
Murphy deploys AI agents for banks starting with the most straightforward business case: voice AI for debt collection. We've built a fully-fledged platform designed to optimize recovery rates while maintaining respectful and personalized communication.
Our AI-powered agents adapt instantly, engaging with debtors across channels like voice, messengers, email and SMS to maximize results while preserving trust.
We're live with Santander, Revolut, BBVA and dozens others. We've proven the product in large-scale pilots with top-tier banks. And now we need to move fast to secure leadership in this $300Bn+ industry.
Murphy is building the commercial engine behind a rapidly growing AI platform for debt collection, already trusted by leading banks, telcos and utilities across Europe and beyond.
We're looking for a BDR based in Barcelona who will help us create pipeline across multiple international markets. You'll work closely with our AEs and Revenue leadership to identify target accounts, engage senior decision-makers and turn outbound prospecting into qualified opportunities.
This isn't a high-volume BDR role where success is measured by how many calls you make. You'll be targeting Enterprise and Mid-Market accounts, researching companies properly, finding the right people and crafting relevant outreach that gets their attention.
You'll work across different markets and cultures, so language ability and adaptability are a core part of the role. English is essential, and you'll be fluent in at least two of: Italian, Spanish, French or Arabic.
You'll join at an early stage of our commercial build-out, with the opportunity to help shape how Murphy approaches outbound across new markets.
What you'll do
You'll own outbound prospecting across multiple markets, identifying high-potential accounts and engaging senior buyers across Finance, Operations, Collections, Transformation and Compliance. You'll be measured on the quality of opportunities and pipeline you create, not simply calls or emails sent.
You'll research accounts, understand their business and identify the people most likely to care about Murphy. You'll develop relevant messaging by market, persona and use case, testing different approaches to understand what creates engagement.
You'll prospect across multiple countries, adapting your messaging and approach to different languages, cultures and buying behaviours. You'll work closely with AEs to understand where Murphy has the strongest opportunities and help build pipeline in those markets.
