About Vector Legal
Vector Legal is a modern solution for startup legal: combining a full-service law firm with a purpose-built AI (VectorAI) platform. We're backed by some of the best investors in Silicon Valley, including Y Combinator, Base10, Transpose Platform, and others, to reinvent the way that legal solutions are delivered for Startups.
We support companies across their lifecycle, including complex formations, fundraising and priced rounds, commercial contracting, hiring and team changes, mergers and acquisitions, and dissolutions. VectorAI powers agentic data rooms, proprietary draft/review/negotiate tools, e-signatures, cap table management, legal health checks and more.
Our goal is to make high-quality legal work faster, more scalable, and more cost-efficient.
About the Role
We’re hiring a Full Stack Engineer to build and scale end-to-end web applications across our platform. This role sits at the intersection of product, infrastructure, and applied AI, working closely with a small, fast-moving team to ship features that directly impact customers.
You’ll own development across the stack: from frontend interfaces to backend APIs, data models, and external integrations. The environment is highly iterative, with a strong bias toward shipping, learning, and refining quickly. If you enjoy operating with autonomy, working on ambiguous problems, and building systems from first principles, this role is a strong fit.
What You’ll Do
- Build and maintain full-stack features across frontend (React) and backend (TypeScript APIs)
- Design and implement scalable data models using NoSQL databases
- Integrate third-party services (e.g., APIs, auth, payments, document systems)
- Work with AI coding tools and agent-driven workflows to accelerate development
- Own features end-to-end, from initial concept through deployment and iteration
- Collaborate closely with product and design to translate requirements into shipped functionality
- Improve system performance, reliability, and developer experience over time
- Contribute to architectural decisions as the platform evolves
