Corin is looking for a talented and motivated Full Stack Software Engineer with strong experience in modern C++ and Angular development. You will join our Global R&D Technology team in a fast-paced, agile environment and contribute to the next generation of software for our Apollo surgical platform. This role offers the opportunity to work across the entire software stack, from core application logic and algorithms to modern web-based user interfaces and 3D visualisation technologies, while ensuring compliance with medical device quality and regulatory standards.
About us:
Corin is a medical device business with innovative robotically assisted platforms for joint replacement surgery. We offer a unique combination of clinically proven hip & knee solutions and world leading technologies. Our Apollo & OPS systems utilize intelligent instrumentation to give surgeons the ability to perform patient-specific procedures with high accuracy, with more consistent results and improved recovery rates.
Your role:
Design, develop, and maintain software systems for preoperative planning, intra-operative guidance, and postoperative follow-up across the full software lifecycle
Develop robust backend and application functionality using modern C++
Design and implement modern web-based user interfaces using Angular, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
Contribute to interactive 3D visualisation capabilities using technologies such as Three.js and related frameworks
Collaborate closely with Product Management, Marketing, Clinical, Hardware Engineering, and external development partners to deliver high-quality software solutions
Ensure high code quality through unit testing, peer reviews, and adherence to engineering best practices
Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, and daily stand-ups
Support software QA, verification, and validation activities to ensure reliability, performance, and compliance
Follow established procedures to ensure software components, processes, and documentation comply with relevant medical device regulations and standards (ISO 13485, IEC 62304, and U.S. Title 21 CFR 820)
