Rhino Partners is looking for a Full Stack Engineer to join our team in developing and enhancing a cloud-native 3D geospatial web application.
In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining scalable, secure, and reliable applications across multiple cloud environments. You will work across full-stack development, cloud infrastructure, and DevOps, contributing to system architecture, application modernisation, and deployment automation.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack web applications using Python, TypeScript, and React.
Translate business and technical requirements into robust, fit-for-purpose solutions.
Develop and integrate backend services, RESTful APIs, and frontend applications.
Design, provision, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure to support application deployment, performance, and scalability.
Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform to automate and standardise cloud deployments.
Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines, including automated testing, security scanning, and deployment workflows, preferably using GitLab.
Support application migration and deployment across multiple cloud environments.
Integrate applications with external authentication and identity management systems, ensuring secure authentication and access control.
Implement security best practices throughout the software development lifecycle, ensuring compliance with government security policies and standards.
Implement observability, monitoring, logging, and fault-tolerance solutions to improve system reliability.
Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot technical issues, and identify opportunities to improve existing systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system architecture, technical design, and integration with external platforms.
Maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, system designs, and key design decisions.
