Position Description

You work with product management and other engineers to design, develop, and test all aspects of new features added to our platform: our database layer, internal Python services, RESTful APIs, and AngularJS components. This position requires creativity, curiosity, and flexibility to make great technical decisions, juggle project requirements, mentor peers, and guide the software architecture that our business is built upon. This is a position for engineers who value developing entire features end-to-end and enjoy the freedom and responsibility of contributing to all portions of a technical stack.

About Manifest Commerce

At Manifest, we are taking a new approach to advertising: building a product intelligence engine for ads. Our system generates product-level ads across a retailer's entire catalog. It identifies the products with the highest potential and hyper-targets them to exactly the right audience. We do this at scale and automatically across a retailer's entire catalog. We want our ads to be so good that people discover interesting products through them.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop RESTful APIs that will be utilized in AngularJS components

• Design and develop reusable AngularJS components

• Work with a kickass team to develop the slickest product in marketing

• Mentor and learn from teammates

• Identify and learn new technologies that can help our team

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years experience building and integrating RESTful apis

• Minimum 1 year of professional experience working with AngularJS

• Minimum 1 year experience working with Python, C#, or similar OO language

• Professional experience using CSS preprocessors such as Sass or LESS

• A devotion to elegant, testable, and performant code

Bonus Points

• Experience with Data Visualization frameworks such as D3

• Experience with Web Frameworks such as Flask or Django

• Experience with Facebook APIs or other advertising platforms

• Strong punmanship, clever emoji usage
