No third-party assistance is approved for this role.About The Job: At Jaxon, we are on a mission to make AI trustworthy. The adoption of large language models (LLMs) in corporate settings is hindered by the “hallucination problem,” where AI models produce inaccurate or entirely fabricated responses. For regulated industries and high-risk applications, this issue is preventing LLM use altogether. As a Full-Stack Python Engineer at Jaxon, you will play a key role in building the next generation of applications that are powered by our cutting-edge AI platform. You will be responsible for some frontend, but will be interfacing with backend systems, creating a seamless user experience tailored for DSAIL users. This includes designing and implementing intuitive, responsive applications using modern frontend technologies like Dash, and integrating them with a Python backend and RESTful APIs that connect to Jaxon's services. In this role, you will shape the design and technical direction of the platform, propose and implement best-in-class technologies, and drive decisions that impact user satisfaction and product scalability. You will ensure that our products deliver high performance, scalability, and a fluid user experience, ultimately helping engineers and data scientists perform complex tasks like model deployment, evaluation, and visualization with ease. The basics of this role require the ability to:
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work with cross-functional teams to integrate ML models into our existing systems and workflows, enhancing product capabilities.
- Demonstrate Technical Proficiency: Demonstrate solid frontend development experience, particularly with data-intensive applications. Be comfortable showing leadership on frontend design best practices.
- Understand Machine Learning Models: Be familiar with machine learning models, particularly how they work and are used, so you can understand DSAIL and what we do.Soft Skills:
- Able to context switch as needed
- Able to compartmentalize different projects with different goals
- Able to communicate clearly and precisely - not just abstractions and "lines-and-boxes"Specific Technologies:
- Python
- Building and deploying component libraries
- Web APIs and how to integrate with them
- Familiarity with Python Data Science Stack - NumPy, Pandas, Scikit Learn, various deep learning packages
- Knowledge in AI/ML techniques is a major plusNice-To-Haves:
