Full description
Okify is a PropTech startup transforming how individuals and businesses manage utility services (electricity, gas, water, internet, etc.)—from automated contracting and centralized billing to intelligent tariff optimization.
Technology sits at the core of our strategy: we build high-reliability integrations and automation tools that eliminate operational friction in the real estate sector. As we scale, we are looking for ambitious Software Engineers to take end-to-end ownership of our platform architecture, solve complex integration challenges, and directly influence our product strategy.
What You Will Do
- Build End-to-End Features: Develop, test, and ship clean full-stack features across our client portals and automation engines.
- Engage with External Partners: Collaborate directly with our partners (utility/insurance providers) and third-party vendors to establish and troubleshoot integrations.
- Step Up Across the Stack: In a small team everyone covers essential ground—whether that means jumping into a release cycle, triaging an urgent operational issue, or participating in architectural discussions alongside the founders.
What We Look For
- Degree in Computer Science / Software Engineering
- +1 years of software development experience
- Technical Skills
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and clean integration patterns.
- Comfort with Git workflows and command-line environments.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and comfortable wearing multiple hats in a collaborative environment where team members support one another.
- Based in or near Barcelona (hybrid structure with 1 day/week in-office).
- Communication
- Fluent Spanish
- Professional English (B2 minimum)
Bonus Skills
- Practical exposure to Django, React, Docker, or Celery.
- Familiarity with cloud hosting, basic CI/CD workflows, or automated testing.
- Experience with webhooks, asynchronous task processing, or data validation pipelines.
What We Offer
- Competitive salary: With a transparent review path as your operational responsibilities and technical contributions grow.
- Massive Learning Velocity: Working directly in a small tech team means learning more in one year than in three years at a traditional corporate firm.
- True Autonomy: High trust and flat hierarchy. You will see the direct results of your code in production every week.
- Hybrid Flexibility: 1 day/week in the Barcelona office, 4 days remote.
