Full description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Full Stack Engineer to join our team for a large-scale support and maintenance project. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in JavaScript technologies, including Node.js, React, and SQL/NoSQL databases, and will be part of the development team, ensuring the successful delivery of the project and maintaining high standards of software quality.
Responsibilities
- Work as part of the development team on core JavaScript platforms, including Node.js, Express.js, React, and databases (SQL/MongoDB).
- Collaborate with Agile team members to identify and resolve technical impediments.
- Provide hands-on new development as well as support, maintenance, and enhancement of existing applications.
- Participate in production support for incidents and act as an expert technical resource on new technologies and design techniques.
- Drive the reduction of duplicate processes and code through clean, reusable design.
- Communicate with project managers on a regular basis; review and approve documentation and diagrams created by IT team members.
- Manage the queues of BAU/RTB (Run the Business) work and ensure successful, on‑time delivery.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working with Node.js, Express.js, and React.
- Prior experience in Public Sector or Government projects preferred.
- Strong knowledge of version control systems (Git), RESTful/GraphQL APIs, and project estimating/planning.
- Desired skills: TypeScript, Redux/Context API, MongoDB/PostgreSQL, and CI/CD tools.
