Job Description:

The nursing assistant performs nursing procedures and patient care tasks. Works under the direction of the unit director, unit coordinator, staff nurse and/or licensed practical nurse.

Required Licenses and Certifications:

BLS certification maintained.

Minimum Education:

High school graduate required.

Successful completion of nursing assistant course or the equivalent preferred but not required.

Minimum Work Experience:

Previous hospital experience preferred.
