GenAI Engineer - RAG/LLM

Role Overview :

As a Gen AI Engineer, you will sit at the intersection of cutting-edge research and scalable product engineering, driving the transformation of our enterprise capabilities through Large Language Models and generative architectures. Your day-to-day involves architecting robust AI pipelines, fine-tuning foundation models, and deploying high-performance inference services that solve complex business challenges. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional product managers, data scientists, and infrastructure teams to translate ambiguous business requirements into production-grade AI solutions.

By bridging the gap between experimental AI and real-world application, you will directly influence the efficiency of our internal operations and the quality of the experience delivered to our global customer base.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design and implement end-to-end generative AI workflows, including RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) systems, to enhance information retrieval and content generation for internal stakeholders.

• Optimize model performance and latency by fine-tuning open-source and proprietary LLMs, ensuring that our AI products meet stringent enterprise standards for accuracy and reliability.

• Collaborate with data engineering teams to build scalable data ingestion and preprocessing pipelines, ensuring high-quality training data is available for model refinement.

• Evaluate and integrate emerging AI frameworks and tools into our existing stack to maintain a competitive edge in the rapidly evolving landscape of generative technology.

• Partner with security and compliance teams to implement robust guardrails, ensuring that all deployed AI solutions adhere to data privacy and ethical AI standards.

Required Skillset :

• Demonstrate deep technical proficiency in Python and modern deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow, with a proven ability to build and deploy production-level AI models.

• Exhibit extensive experience in working with LLM APIs, vector databases like Pinecone or Milvus, and orchestration frameworks like LangChain or LlamaIndex.

• Possess strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and lead collaborative efforts across distributed teams.

• Hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related quantitative field from a premier institute, reflecting a strong foundation in algorithmic thinking.

• Adapt seamlessly to a hybrid work environment in Hyderabad or Bangalore, maintaining high productivity and proactive communication within a fast-paced, high-growth organizational culture.

• Bring 6 to 9 years of professional experience in software engineering or data science, with a specific focus on delivering AI-driven products to market.
