Head of Growth Marketing

About Stavtar

Stavtar builds software for the finance teams of alternative asset managers. Our flagship product, StavPay, handles the full life of a firm's spending: invoices come in, get coded, are allocated across funds and legal entities, move through approvals and are paid. The allocation engine at its core is what general-purpose tools can't do, and it is why more than 140 hedge funds, private equity firms and family offices, together managing more than $3.6 trillion, run on Stavtar. We also run StavMarket, a marketplace that connects those firms with the vendors they rely on.

We are headquartered in New York, with offices in Dallas, London, Bengaluru and Mumbai. Our marketing function is new, and we are building it to match the strength of the product and the relationships behind it.

About the role

Most of our clients have come to us through relationships, referrals and industry events, and that has built a loyal client base. Your job is to add a growth engine alongside it, so the CFOs, COOs and controllers who need us can find us, understand us and start a conversation with Sales.

You will own our digital presence and demand generation end to end: the website, paid and organic channels, marketing automation, and the measurement that shows what each program produces. You will decide what we build in house and what our agency partners deliver, and you will manage those partners to clear outcomes.

What you will do

• Lead : its technical health, conversion, structure and the next version of the site, working with our web and creative partners.

• Build and run demand programs that reach finance leaders at hedge funds, private equity firms, family offices and fund administrators, starting with LinkedIn and expanding to search, content syndication and account-based programs.

• Run HubSpot as the marketing system of record: lead capture, qualification, routing, nurture and a clean handoff to Sales.

• Set up attribution and reporting from first touch to closed deal, so every channel, campaign and event can show the pipeline it created.

• Give every conference, customer story, product launch and StavMarket program a digital life before and after it happens, together with events, communications and product marketing.

• Choose and manage agencies, freelancers and tools with clear scopes, budgets and handovers.

• Grow our audience on LinkedIn and our owned channels together with communications.

• Own the growth budget and forecast, and report results to the leadership team.

• Hire and develop the team as the program grows.

Your first 90 days

• A working baseline: website, tracking, forms and lead routing checked and fixed, and one

dashboard leadership trusts.

• Our first paid program live, with targets agreed with Sales.

• A 2027 growth plan with channels, budget, team and agency model, and the metrics we will be

measured on.

What you bring

• 10 or more years in B2B growth or demand marketing, with at least 3 leading the function.

• Experience marketing to finance leaders, ideally in fintech, financial software or enterprise

SaaS with long sales cycles and senior buying committees.

• A track record of building a growth engine at an early stage, with the pipeline numbers to show

for it.

• Hands-on command of HubSpot or a comparable platform, WordPress, Google Analytics and

Tag Manager, and LinkedIn Campaign Manager.

• Experience with account-based marketing and with turning events and content into qualified

pipeline.

• Strong agency management: sharp briefs, firm budgets, and partners held to results.

• A data-led way of working, and the confidence to present results and recommendations to a

CEO and CFO.

• A builder's attitude: happy to do the work yourself while you put the system in place.

Good to have

• Knowledge of alternative investments, fund operations or finance-team software.

• Experience with marketplaces or two-sided programs.
