Full description
- Manages the Manufacturing Engineering functions (Programming, Process and Continuous Improvements).
- Proposes strategy that will be essential in supporting corporate goals and company annual plan.
- Assists in annual budget preparation and implementation of cost-effective measures to reduce operating expenditures, improve workforce efficiency, improve manufacturing yield and other related overhead costs.
- Drives the team for continuous improvement efforts and systemic actions to improve our manufacturing quality, efficiency, cycle time and cost through Lean manufacturing, SPC & Six Sigma methodology.
- Engages and coaches the team to achieve manufacturing requirements.
- Manages standardization and enhancement of processes.
- Accountable for the process of manufacturing new products at Cohu PH coming from NPI sites and ensure proper release to Manufacturing.
- Collaborates with Design Engineering on the manufacturability of the parts and improvements to efficiently manufacture the products.
- Administers the company’s Quality policy according to corporate standards.
