Head of Product Marketing & Growth

About us

Hewitt is an Australian-founded, global agriculture and food business producing better-for-you protein through organic, grass-fed and high-claims fresh red meat products that support healthier people and communities. With 13 major agricultural properties across some of Australia’s most iconic landscapes and state-of-the-art offices in Brisbane, Australia, and Vermont, USA, our operations span the entire supply chain, from livestock production through to branded products on retail shelves around the world.

With established, market-leading brands, partnerships with major retailers including Coles, Woolworths and Whole Foods Market, and ambitious plans for international expansion, we're entering an exciting new phase of growth.

To support this growth, we're transforming our global marketing function, investing in regional leadership, e-commerce capabilities, new product innovation and a major brand evolution.

This is an opportunity to join an established global business while helping shape a marketing function with the ownership, pace and ambition of a scale-up.

Who we are looking for

We're looking for a commercially minded Head of Product Marketing & Growth to own product marketing, e-commerce and customer growth across our Americas portfolio.

This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for someone who knows how to scale consumer brands, develop compelling product propositions and turn marketing investment into measurable commercial outcomes.

You'll understand the US consumer landscape and know how to connect brand strategy with customer acquisition, conversion, retention and revenue growth.

We're particularly interested in marketers who have played a meaningful role in scaling successful consumer businesses, ideally within premium FMCG, food, retail or other high-growth consumer categories.

You'll bring strong commercial judgement, sophisticated brand standards and the ability to move between strategy and execution. You're comfortable working with established business stakeholders while bringing the resourcefulness and ownership required to build new growth capabilities.

You have

• Significant experience across product marketing, growth, brand, e-commerce or commercial marketing, ideally within consumer goods, FMCG, food or retail.

• A demonstrated track record of delivering measurable commercial growth, including revenue, customer acquisition, conversion and retention.

• Experience building and executing full-funnel e-commerce and digital marketing strategies across retailer platforms, paid media and owned channels.

• Strong brand development and product positioning capabilities, with experience bringing compelling consumer propositions to market.

• Experience working with NPD, Sales and Commercial teams to identify market opportunities and deliver successful product launches.

• Strong analytical and commercial skills, including evaluating marketing investment, customer behaviour and channel performance.

• Experience leading marketing teams and influencing stakeholders across multiple business functions.

• A hands-on, resourceful approach, with experience scaling businesses or building marketing capabilities.

• A relevant tertiary qualification in Marketing, Business, Commerce or a related discipline.

Experience with Amazon, retail media, major US grocery channels or successful private-equity-backed consumer businesses would be particularly valuable.

You will

• Own the product marketing and customer growth strategy for Hewitt's Americas portfolio, with accountability for measurable commercial performance.

• Build and execute e-commerce and digital marketing strategies that increase product discoverability, customer acquisition, conversion and repeat purchasing.

• Identify opportunities to strengthen performance across Amazon, retailer e-commerce platforms, owned digital channels and paid media.

• Develop commercially focused product marketing plans for existing ranges, new launches and product innovations.

• Shape premium brand and product positioning, ensuring consistent messaging across packaging, digital channels and retail environments.

• Partner with Sales, Commercial and NPD teams to identify market gaps, develop compelling product propositions and bring new products to market.

• Develop go-to-market strategies and sales enablement materials that support retail distribution and product growth.

• Analyse customer behaviour, sales performance and marketing investment to improve acquisition, retention, share of basket and marketing ROI.

• Lead regional marketing priorities while working closely with shared creative resources, agency partners and global stakeholders.

What success looks like

In the first month, you will develop a detailed understanding of Hewitt's US product portfolio, customers, retail partnerships and existing commercial performance. You'll evaluate our current digital and e-commerce presence, identify gaps in the customer journey and begin prioritising opportunities for growth.

In the next few months, you will establish and begin executing a product-led e-commerce and customer growth strategy for the Americas, with clear commercial priorities, measurable KPIs and targeted investment across retail media, digital channels and product marketing.

You'll identify opportunities to improve our Amazon and retailer e-commerce presence while developing a pipeline of practical initiatives to grow sales and customer engagement.

Within your first year you will have built a measurable, commercially accountable approach to regional marketing that delivers improvements in product sales, customer acquisition, retention and share of shopper basket.

You'll have strengthened our e-commerce performance, supported successful product launches and established clear evidence of marketing's contribution to commercial growth.

You'll collaborate closely with our US commercial and sales teams, as well as stakeholders across Australia and the broader global business.
