About Our Family

We are a warm and growing family preparing to welcome a new baby this July. Our household consists of two professionals with demanding careers who work different schedules, creating a dynamic environment that requires organization and flexibility. Along with our two friendly dogs and a parrot, our home is located near Lake Erie, offering a beautiful property that's still in the process of being fully unpacked and organized after a recent move.

Our focus is on creating a smooth, organized, and harmonious environment that allows everyone to thrive. The family values a calm, efficient atmosphere, and we are looking for someone who can anticipate needs, stay proactive, and works independently. With one parent working West Coast hours from home and the other keeping early mornings at an office, we appreciate someone who can respect the home’s rhythms and seamlessly integrate into our busy routine.

Extended family is nearby and the family frequently travels to see them, which may require scheduling flexibility or pet care while they are gone for the day. We appreciate efficiency, thoughtful organization, and a calm presence that can bring balance to our bustling household. This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable with pets, enjoys taking initiative, and thrives in a family-oriented environment.

Respectful of boundaries: You’re friendly and warm but mindful of being discrete while we work from home during the day.

Open-minded and adaptable: You are not overly rigid and can learn and respect the family’s established preferences and systems.

Family-oriented: You’re warm around babies and pets and comfortable becoming part of a family environment and building trust over time.
