Duties and Responsibilities: Utilize ServiceMaster TBS Division's commercial cleaning task schedules to perform all tasks which include, but are not limited to:

Daily duties

• Sweep and mop hard floors in offices, hallways, break rooms and restrooms.

• Vacuum carpets and spot clean as needed, using upright vacuums.

• Dust window ledges, furniture and surfaces daily.

• Clean, wash and sanitize restrooms. Restock toilet tissue, paper towels, soap and trash liners.

• Clean and disinfect break rooms and common areas, including tables, chairs, sinks and counters.

• Empty all trash containers, bag rubbish and take it to the site dumpster or compactor.

• Clean interior glass and entry doors as needed.

• Operate a walk-behind floor scrubber for scheduled floor care at sites that require it.

• Report completed tasks and any maintenance or supply issues to the supervisor at the end of every shift.

• Pass a criminal background check before starting work.

• Work the full scheduled window every day.

• At airport locations, hold a SIDA badge or stay with an escort at all times. Escort availability is limited and set by operations.

• Follow all safety and security directions around active sort, dock, and ramp operations. Stay clear of conveyors, forklifts, and moving equipment.

• Meet any additional site-specific security or safety requirements.

• Wear the company uniform and any high-visibility or safety gear the site requires.

Qualifications

• Able to follow written and verbal safety instructions and daily task schedules.

• Able to operate standard janitorial equipment, including upright vacuums and, at sites that require it, walk-behind floor scrubbers.

Physical demands

• Frequent walking, standing, bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, pulling, pushing, kneeling, and crouching.

• Work around an active warehouse environment with noise, dust, and moving equipment.
