HSE Officer

We are seeking a dedicated HSE Officer to join a leading petrochemicals manufacturing plant in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in safety and health, particularly within the chemicals or petrochemicals industry. This role is crucial for ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, and for promoting a culture of safety within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and monitor health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local and international regulations.
• Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
• Provide training and support to employees on safety practices and emergency response procedures.
• Investigate incidents and accidents, preparing detailed reports and recommendations for improvement.
• Collaborate with management to develop safety programs and initiatives that promote a safe working environment.
• Stay updated on industry trends and changes in regulations to ensure ongoing compliance.

Required Skills:

• Proven experience in a Safety or HSE role, preferably within the petrochemicals sector.
• Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.

• Ability to analyze data and prepare reports on safety performance.
