Salary: $6,500 – $9,000 per month

We are seeking an experienced Sales Engineer/Solution Engineer in the IT Network domain to lead customer engagements, solution design, and project delivery. The role covers design and implementation of data centre, office, and campus networks (routers, switches, firewalls — Cisco, Huawei, Fortinet, and equivalents). Strong business and technical acumen, clear communication, and delivery under pressure are essential.

Responsibilities:

· Work with Sales and customers to understand technical needs; design network solutions for data centre, office, and campus environments that fit prospect goals.

· Track network infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls — Cisco, Huawei, Fortinet, and similar) from design and BoM through implementation and delivery.

· Create proposals, respond to RFPs, and prepare bidding documents, plans, quotes, and procurement from a technical perspective.

· Oversee network projects end to end—design and implementation in data centre, office, and campus environments—managing resources, timelines, and scope with project teams and vendors.

· Cultivate and nurture strong customer relationships.

· Maintain current knowledge of industry trends and the competitive landscape.

· Support all post-sales activities.

Qualifications:

· Solid understanding of data centre, office, and campus network infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls), with hands-on design and implementation experience.

· Proficiency in Cisco, Huawei, and Fortinet products; HCIP/CCNP/NSE (or higher) highly desirable.

· Familiar with multi-vendor security/networking platforms (e.g. FortiGate, Check Point, Palo Alto, F5), Layer 2/3, and Voice/UC.

· Broad IT knowledge: systems, servers, storage, backup, virtualization, CCTV, security systems, AV, etc.

· Able to produce clear technical documentation, resolve network issues, and explain complex concepts.

· Motivated to learn new products and stay current with emerging technologies.

· Proven experience in Pre-Sales, Sales Engineer, Network Engineer, Consulting, or project delivery, with ownership of network design and implementation.

· Able to work independently and in a team, multitask, and manage time in a fast-paced sales environment.

· PMP or similar project management certification is a significant advantage.

· Priority for candidates with 3+ years in Australian mining, new energy, automotive, or internet industries.

· Priority for assistant architect certifications in AWS, Azure, Alibaba Cloud, etc..
