Job Description
HII-Mission Technologies in Mountain View, CA is seeking an experienced and highly capable Information Technology (IT) Systems Administrator for the Defense Innovation Unit (DIU) to serve as a cornerstone of the IT team’s technology operations. Candidate should be a technologist with experience in both modern commercial IT delivery and multiple classification levels of government systems. Candidate should be able to independently configure complex infrastructure, mentor peers, and drive operational excellence across the full IT stack.
This role spans the full depth of IT administration: delivering expert-level Tier 1 and Tier 2 end-user support across multiple channels and platforms, managing enterprise network and cloud infrastructure, leading endpoint and mobile device management, and contributing directly to IT policy, procurement, and project planning. The right candidate is equally comfortable imaging a Windows or Mac workstation, managing network infrastructure, configuring SaaS platform solutions, and training end users on advanced enterprise applications.
