Inside Sales Executive (IT System Integration)

Salary: RM 5,000 – RM 7,000 per month

Role Overview

We are seeking a driven and proactive Inside Sales Executive to join our dynamic commercial team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving front-end pipeline generation, identifying new business opportunities, and engaging corporate clients for our IT system integration solutions (including infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, and managed services). You will work closely with our Pre-Sales Engineers, Solution Architects, and Field Sales Account Managers to convert qualified leads into closed deals and contribute directly to company growth.

Job Responsibilities

Prospecting & Lead Generation

• Pipeline Generation: Conduct proactive outbound prospecting, warm/cold calling, and digital outreach to identify new corporate accounts and business opportunities.

• Lead Qualification: Assess incoming inquiries, marketing-generated leads, and cold prospects using structured sales frameworks to qualify sales-ready opportunities.

• Demand Creation: Uncover client pain points in their current IT infrastructure, positioning relevant system integration, hardware, software, and IT services solutions.

Sales Support & Pipeline Management

• Deal Coordination: Collaborate closely with Field Sales Account Managers, Pre-Sales Engineers, and Vendor Partners to prepare commercial proposals, tenders, and official quotations.

• Proposal Follow-up: Track and follow up on submitted quotes, proposals, and renewals, ensuring high response rates and timely closure.

• Deal Lifecycle Tracking: Manage leads through every stage of the sales pipeline—from prospect discovery to qualified opportunity and handover.

CRM & Performance Reporting

• CRM Maintenance: Maintain meticulous records of customer interactions, account profiles, deal statuses, and sales activities within the CRM platform.

• Sales Targets: Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), including outbound activity metrics, pipeline velocity, and revenue contribution targets.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with vendor/distributor sales representatives, procurement, and operations teams to align on product pricing, lead registrations, and delivery timelines.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Business Administration, Computer Science, Marketing, or a related field.

• 2 - 5 years of proven sales experience as an Inside Sales, Account Representative, or Business Development Representative within an IT System Integrator (SI) environment.

• Basic understanding of enterprise IT concepts (e.g., enterprise networking, servers & storage, cybersecurity, cloud platforms, and enterprise software licensing).

• Familiarity with major global technology vendors (e.g., Cisco, Dell Technologies, HPE, Microsoft, Fortinet, VMware) and local distributor processes is a strong advantage.

• Hands-on experience working with enterprise CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics) to manage leads and pipelines.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong telephone etiquette and cold-outreach confidence.

• High energy, goal-oriented mindset, and resilience when managing high-volume outbound outreach.

• Strong interpersonal skills to build quick rapport with IT decision-makers, procurement executives, and internal stakeholders.
