Job Summary:
The Integration and Test Engineer is responsible for developing, executing, and documenting test procedures for complex systems to ensure performance, functionality, and reliability. This role involves integrating hardware and software components, troubleshooting technical issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to refine system designs. The engineer will support the full testing lifecycle, from requirements analysis to final verification and validation.
Key Responsibilities:
System Integration and Testing:
- Develop and implement test plans, test cases, and procedures for system verification and validation.
- Conduct integration and regression testing to ensure seamless operation of hardware and software components.
- Perform functional, performance, and environmental testing based on project requirements.
- Analyze test results, troubleshoot issues, and support root cause analysis.
Collaboration and Documentation:
- Work closely with design, software, and hardware teams to identify and resolve integration challenges.
- Develop and maintain test documentation, including test reports, procedures, and compliance artifacts.
- Provide technical support for customer demonstrations, field testing, and operational deployment.
Compliance and Quality Assurance:
- Ensure all testing activities comply with industry standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Support quality assurance initiatives by identifying process improvements and implementing best practices.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent combination of experience in lieu of degree.
