Full description
We are looking for our next Integration Engineering to help customers solve their newest and often most complex data problems.
Our platform enables marketers to import and consolidate data from all of their marketing tools and channels, and lets them easily export their data to data warehouses (e.g. Amazon Web Services / Redshift) and analysis tools like Google Sheets, Google Data Studio and visualization tools. Since the product launch in 2015, we have set up offices in Stockholm, Boston, and Sydney, and have grown to service thousands of marketers all over the world, with the US as the largest market. We currently employ over 300 people, and are still growing.
We uphold and promote a “people first” culture where we consider team achievements and mental well being key measures of success. We strive for the work environment to be fun, friendly and fulfilling. We believe that psychological safety and individual development are core components that are needed for building successful organizations.
About the role
The Integration Engineering team is responsible for supporting Funnel's customers with their data use cases and the integrations they need for getting data into and out of the Funnel product. When a customer needs data imported to Funnel from a source that is not supported by Funnel's "out-of-the-box" integrations, they come to Integration Engineering for a custom-made solution. In other words, the team helps customers set up custom data extraction, configures the import of data in the Funnel platform, and troubleshoots customer problems with the integrations that we have built for them.
As an Integration Engineer, you are a key contributor to ensuring that our customers get maximum value out of Funnel. It is a unique type of role in a team that frequently interacts with Commercial and Product Development teams at Funnel.
Tools that we use at work today:
- Code: Python, JavaScript, SQL
- Code Development: VSCode, Claude Code and harnesses
- Version control: Git/Github
- Testing: Postman
- Cloud services: Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Databases and SQL: Postgres, MySQL, BigQuery
- Customer Comms: Hubspot, Intercom
Our hiring is more focused on attitude and traits versus specific tech keywords or technologies. Our focus is on whether you can think about data and work on solving business problems with the right approach and share our values.
Who you are
- You are comfortable working in customer-facing roles, and you enjoy being a helpful resource and solving other people's problems
- You have a drive for self-education/ self-teaching where you take ownership and initiatives in evolving your skills
